About Bay & Basin Physio
Bay & Basin Physio has been helping people just like you to reduce pain and get the most out of life for over 25years. We provide proven physiotherapy treatments in a caring, supportive and professional environment.
It's your body, it’s your story, so we listen carefully to work out exactly what you need and determine the best treatment to get your body performing its best.
Whether you’re a top-level athlete, weekend warrior, grandparent-babysitter-extraordinaire, or just a regular Joe with an annoying ache or pain, we can help you to achieve your goals.
Acute injuries, work injuries, pre and post-surgery rehab, sports injuries, chronic disease management, posture problems, balance, falls, headaches, breathing problems, neurological conditions, fracture management…you name it, we can help it!
You can expect an individualised combination of therapeutic hands-on treatments and home exercises to get you feeling better and working on correcting the root cause of your problem.
We won’t waste your time with gimmicks that don’t work, nor charge you the earth for a 5 min consult then leave you stuck on a machine! We pride ourselves on long appointments ensuring you get all the one-on-one attention you need.
If you have a doctor, specialist or insurance company involved we’ll get in touch with them so your care is a streamlined team effort. We are fierce patient advocates to ensure all members of your healthcare team are on the same page when it comes to managing your injury.
So what are you waiting for? Contact our practise today and let’s start a conversation about how to get you moving and feeling better.
Our Staff
Merryn Richardson
Merryn has been a physio for over 20 years so she knows a thing or two about bodies! Her approach is thorough and thoughtful, ensuring you get the attention you need. She has a background in dance and has enjoyed playing soccer. When she’s not fixing bodies or hanging out with her family, she’s walking her three-legged greyhound or enjoying a local gym class. She’d love to help you with your problem and is happy to chat about most topics (except stories about your dental work).
Marni Elliott
Marni is a local South Coast girl who has been working as a Physio for more than half a decade. Having worked with in both the private practice and hospital settings, Marni has a wide range of clinical skills and knowledge to help you achieve your rehab goals. She has an energetic and motivating personality and especially enjoys treating orthopaedics and lumbopelvic dysfunction. Marni is undergoing further training in clinical Pilates and will be incorporating this into her practice, hopefully with you! When not at work, you'll find Marni frolicking in the ocean with her husband and young family.
